He also serves as the department’s liaison to Arizona Sports Enterprises and is the sport administrator for Arizona Football and Beach Volleyball.

Daniel arrived in Tucson after nearly six years at the University of Missouri, where he most recently served as Assistant AD for Marketing. In that role, he led marketing efforts for all 20 varsity sports and directed in-venue fan experience across Mizzou Athletics events. He was the primary marketing and promotions contact for football and men’s basketball, coordinated the department’s digital marketing and branding strategy, and served as the secondary sport administrator for football. He was an active member of Mizzou’s senior leadership and leadership teams.

He joined Missouri in 2017 as an assistant director of marketing, was promoted to director of marketing in 2019, and elevated to Assistant AD in 2022.

Prior to Mizzou, Daniel spent two years at Ole Miss, first as a graduate assistant for marketing and fan experience and later as assistant director. He began his career in athletics while an undergraduate student-athlete at the University at Buffalo, where he was a four-year letterwinner at quarterback for the Bulls and appeared in 17 games from 2012–15. During his time at Buffalo, Daniel also worked as a marketing and external affairs intern and served as director of football social media.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree in social sciences interdisciplinary from Buffalo in 2015 and a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Ole Miss in 2018.
