Victoria Castanon joined the Arizona Athletics Compliance staff as Compliance Coordinator in June of 2020. She previously held roles as Assistant Director and Director of Compliance where she played a key role in roster management and eligibility processes. Her current duties include oversight of NCAA and Big-12 recruiting rules and assisting in day-to-day compliance related needs. Castanon arrived in Tucson after serving as Assistant Director of Compliance at Utah Valley University.
She began her Compliance career as a graduate assistant at UTEP during the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons. In addition to their professional roles, Victoria has been involved in volunteer activities, including serving as a member of the Utah Valley University Inclusion and Diversity Committee in 2019.
A former cheer student-athlete at UTEP, Castanon graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UTEP in 2018. She also holds a Master of Legal Studies from the Sandra Day O’Connor Law School at Arizona State.
