Brett Gleason joined Arizona Athletics in February of 2019 as the primary communications contact for Arizona Baseball and secondary contact for Arizona Football. He was promoted to Associate Director of Communication Services in January 2023 and began serving as the department's representative on the Arizona Athletics Heritage Committee.
While at Arizona he has covered three Conference Championships in baseball (Pac-12 in 2021 & 2024, Big 12 in 2025), hosted two NCAA Regionals and one NCAA Super Regional at Hi Corbett Field, made two trip to the Men's College World Series (2021 & 2025), modernized the department's credentialing system, and covered the 2023 Arizona Football program that earned 10 wins and a Valero Alamo Bowl championship.
Gleason joined Arizona Athletics following four years as the Communications Director for the Tacoma Rainiers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. He was the communications lead for the team while also handling all baseball-related social media content. During his tenure, Tacoma hosted the 2017 Triple-A All-Star Game and Home Run Derby.
His background also includes leading all communications for the Tacoma Stars of the Major Arena Soccer League and the Spokane Shock of the Arena Football League.
The 2013 graduate of Washington State University worked in the Sports Information Office as an intern while also working as a reporter and columnist for the Daily Evergreen, WSU’s school newspaper.
