Taylor Stephens began working at C.A.T.S. Academics in the summer of 2017 as a writing tutor while she was completing her master’s degree in Library and Information Science. After graduating, she transitioned to a part-time assistant learning specialist position.
She became a full-time learning specialist in the fall of 2019 and works with a caseload of 20-30 students in individual and group settings. As a learning specialist, she creates individualized academic support plans, promotes study and organizational strategies, and helps students achieve personal and academic growth. Additionally, she focuses on improving literacy among college students, with an emphasis on writing ability. Taylor also supervises writing tutors and oversees the writing lab at C.A.T.S. Academics.
Taylor completed her Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Arizona in December of 2015 and her Master of Arts in Library and Information Science at the University of Arizona in December of 2018. Originally from Arizona, Taylor is proud to be a lifelong Wildcat.
