Kelly Amsler is passionate about integrating engaging and sustainable learning into the collegiate student-athlete experience. She oversees the SLS (Strategic Learning Services) program, which provides learning specialist, assistant learning specialist, and study hall support services for student-athletes. In her role as a learning specialist, Kelly meets with a caseload of student-athletes to help them adjust to their new schedules, develop transferable skills and practice learning strategies as they progress towards graduation. She teaches the first-year student-athlete success course, SAS101: Student-Athlete Identity, and a career and identity exploration course for junior and senior student-athletes. Kelly also coordinates with campus colleagues to facilitate Academic Integrity Workshops and connect students with the Disability Resource Center.

Kelly is an active member of the National Association for Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and is currently serving as the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) Region V Director. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Miami (FL) in 2009 where she also competed on the rowing team. She started her career at the University of Arizona in 2012 and earned her Master’s in Development Practice from the University of Arizona in 2017. 
Outside of C.A.T.S., Kelly loves to adventure outdoors, take spontaneous road trips, and drink lots of coffee.
