Galen has been is his role for three years with IMG serving 15-20 current business partners and focusing on new business. In January 2004, at the inception of securing UA broadcast rights, Galen was the General Manager for 2 years.

Prior to Host Communications, Hungate was Sales Manager for the Arizona Wildcat Network for 14 years with Clear Channel Radio the former flagship and broadcast rights holder. Previously, Galen worked in Seattle with KOMO radio and Fisher Broadcasting, the rights holder to University of Washington and Sandusky radio for 10 years.

His radio sales career dates back to 1977 in Ogallala NE. and then 4 years in Denver with Doubleday Broadcasting and Sandusky Radio.

A native of Wichita Kansas, he attended Wichita State University and has three daughters and a grandson. His wife Tara is in radio broadcast sales as a Sales Manager for Lotus Communications in Tucson.
