The Arizona women's golf team will host the Wildcat Invitational beginning on Monday at Sewailo Golf Club.
Competing for the Cats will be junior
Gigi Stoll, freshman
Yu-Sang Hou, junior
Bianca Pagdanganan, junior
Haley Moore, and freshman
Cecilie Bofill.
Stoll is coming off of a strong performance at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge where she tied for 11
th place shooting 219 (+6). In her collegiate debut in Palos Verdes, Hou tied for 18
th with the help of a 1-under par round in her 2nd round. Moore and Pagdanganan will each be making their sixth appearances of the season, while Bofill is competing in her first event of the spring and her fifth of the season.
The Cats have won the event as the host team ten times in its history with the most recent victory coming in 2016 when UA shot 857 (-7). Arizona has also had nine individuals win the title win including
Krystal Quihuis (2016), Manon Gidali (2012), Isabelle Boineau (2011), Lorena Ochoa (2001), Leta Lindley (1992) and Mette Hageman (1991).
Arizona did not host the Wildcat Invitational in 2017 due to hosting the Pac-12 Championships in April.
The tournament boats a strong field with five teams listed inside of Golfstat's Top 25 rankings including Arizona at No. 21.
Admission to the tournament is free, and fans are encouraged to attend.
