Box Score
"We played really hard. This was an example of how it's never over until
it's over. We played two totally different halves, and the crowd was a
tremendous key for us. In the first half, Oregon State shot the ball so
well, and they did a good job of penetrating and dishing. We couldn't get
to the shooter quick enough. In the second half, we did a much better job
of containing their penetration."
"Jason (Gardner) hit some big shots for us, and in that stretch, we got
help from everybody. Jason's leadership really showed because he took it
upon himself to lead the team back. He is such a tremendous competitor."
"We did a great job defensively in the second half. We did a good job of
not letting them into areas where they could shoot the ball effectively. We
had some key runs, and we had some good inside work on the glass, which
gave us some second and third opportunities."
"There is no question that we could not have come back like that without
our defense and the energy from the crowd. That was an unbelievable come
back. We caused some turnovers in the second half, and we really took care
of the ball. We kept the pressure on them in the second half."
