TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Playing without star Luke Walton, No. 1 Arizona defeated EA Sports All-Stars 117-95 Tuesday night in its first exhibition game.

Walton, a preseason first-time All-American, and 2002 Pac-10 Freshman of the Year Salim Stoudamire sat on the bench with ankle injuries.

Freshman Hassan Adams scored 27 points and first-team All-American point guard Jason Gardner had 20 points.

EA Sports made only 11 of its first 31 shots as the revolving Arizona bench continually put pressure on the group of former college stars.
