Alicia Hollowell came on in relief in the sixth inning to preserve UA's comeback victory over Missouri in the first game of a softball doubleheader Sunday at Hillenbrand Stadium.

Heather Kunkel singled to center for one run, but Allen struck out Alli Kennewell and right fielder Candace Abrams made a long running catch on a foul ball by Kathy Masterson.
Arizona (27-0) came up with a pair of unearned runs with a two-out rally in the third. Caitlin Lowe reached on an error and stole second. Autum Champion hit a bunt single moving Lowe up, then stole second. Allen walked to load the bases and Mackenzie Vandergeest single up the middle to plate Lowe and Champion.
Kristie Fox hit a solo home run, her seventh of the year, to centerfield off Missouri pitcher Erin Kalka (6-6) to push UA's lead to 3-1.
The Tigers (10-14) chased Allen (6-0) with a leadoff double by Sarah Stringer, a single by Morgan LeCluyse and an RBI single by A.J. White in the top of the sixth, but UA reliever Alicia Hollowell struck out two and got a pop up to strand the pair of baserunners.
