TUCSON, Ariz. - Carding a third round of 306 (+18), the University of Arizona Wildcat men's golf team held onto tenth place in the final day of the John A. Burns Intercollegiate, competed at the Turtle Bay Resort: Arnold Palmer Course (par 72, 7218 yards) on Oahu. California remained in the top spot to win the tournament for the second consecutive year with a final result of seventeen under par.

Arizona finished the tournament with a final score of 887 (+23), and was able to hold onto its placement with the performances of junior Juan Pablo Hernandez and freshman Tucker Wadkins. Both finished with a score of 75 (+3). Hernandez finished in a tie for 31st place and Wadkins finished in a tie for 41st.

With two golfers finishing in the top 5, California finished the tournament with a final score of 847 (-17). UNLV and Duke finished in a tie for second place with a final of 854 (-10). Duke's Julian Suri took the individual title after shooting a 70 (-2) to finish the tournament at eleven under par (205). Four strokes behind Suri was California's Max Homa, who broke out of the day two, three-way tie for third place to finish in second with a final of 209 (-7). Also from California, Joel Stalter finished in a tie for third place with SMU's Sam Fidone (211/-5).

Sophomore Chris Capo finished the day in a tie for 50th with a 78 (+6), and fellow sophomore Erik Oja and junior Trent Redfern finished tied for 60th with a final total of 228 (+10). Competing as an individual, freshman Brenden Redfernwrapped the tournament in a tie for 74th (231/+15).

Up next, Arizona men's golf travels to Palm Desert, Calif. for the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate on Sunday, February 25 and 26.
