(Going into the conference championships) I'm feeling really confident; I know I'll pull through."

It also shows that I'm really prepared to jump a lot higher. "I thought from a performance standpoint, we did a great job," head coach Fred Harvey said. "We had some great high jumping again and Georganne Moline came back and duplicated what she did at the Mt. SAC Relays, so we're really pleased about that. We have a lot of work to do in terms of our mental preparation as we go forward into the Pac-12 (Championships). Cliff (Leake) finally had a nice breakthrough in the hurdles; Germe Poston dropped a really nice personal best in the 100-meter dash. It is never a good day to not have more points than the Sun Devils and that's just the way that works out. But, we need to make sure we have more points than them at the Pac-12 and NCAA Championships."
The Wildcats will return to the track for the inaugural Pac-12 Track and Field Championships on May 5-6 for the combined events and May 12-13 for the track and field portion. The University of Oregon will be hosting the championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
