 TUCSON -  The University of Arizona Wildcat No. 15 men's and No. 8 women's track and field teams wrapped up their final home meet of the 2012 season on Saturday. The Wildcats set three personal-best marks on the day.

Junior Nick Ross set a personal-best mark in the high jump competition with a clearance of 7-5 (2.26m). He also tied the facility record set by James Frazier (unattached) on May 9, 1981. Ross is now in sole possession of the third-best jump in the country this year. His mark is also tied for the third-best jump in school history. Junior Edgar-Rivera Morales cleared 7-2.5 (2.20m), good for second place in the competition.

In group B of the men's hammer throw competition, junior Tyler Johnson took first with a personal-best mark of 213-4 (65.02m). That mark is good for No. 20 in the country and tied for the third-best toss in UA history. Sophomore Bozidar Antunovic set a personal-best mark of 65-1.5 (19.85m) in the men's shot put competition. That mark is good for No. 5 in the country and the third-best throw in school history.

For the women, junior Brigetta Barrett cleared 6-2.25 (1.89m) in the high jump competition, good for first place. Juniors Alyssa Hasslen and Taylor Freeman both threw in group B of the discus competition. Hasslen took second with a toss of 170-11 (52.09m). Freeman had a mark of 170-2 (51.88m), good for third place in the event. Senior Taylor Bush took fifth place in group B of the hammer throw with a toss of 194-9 (59.35m). Junior Asia Easley threw 128-6 (39.18m) in the javelin competition.

Volunteer assistant coach Jill Camarena-Williams won the women's shot put competition with a season-best toss of 65-0.5 (19.82m). Camarena-Williams also broke her own facility record. She threw 64-9.75 (19.75m) on May 17, 2012. She is currently ranked No. 4 in the world and is No. 1 in the U.S.

Brittney Reese (Nike) set the facility record for the women's long jump. She jumped 22-5.75 (6.85m), good for first place in the competition and is her third-best jump of the year. She is currently No. 1 in the world in the event with a mark of 23-4.5 (7.12m). The previous facility record was set on May 17, 2012 by Hyleas Fountain (Nike). She jumped 22-1.75 (6.75m).

Britney Henry (unattached) set the facility record for the women's hammer throw. She had a toss of 229-7 (69.97m). The previous record was held by Erin Gilreath (NYAC). She threw 229-6 (69.95m) on May 20, 2004.

Kara Patterson (USOC) set the facility record for the women's javelin throw. She threw 198-0 (60.36m). Previously, the record was held by Kim Kreiner (Nike). She threw 192-6 (58.68m) on May 22, 2004.

The Wildcats will return to action on May 24-26 for the preliminary round of the NCAA Track and Field Championships.
