General: A rapidly-developing player with great potential ... Can create matchup problems due to his quickness and length ... Incredibly active around the basket, especially on the boards ... UA coaching staff feels that Dunn was the 2002 sleeper recruit in the nation ... Wildcats enjoyed a serendipitous recruitment of Dunn, as he was recommended to the staff by Albuquerque La Cueva head coach Frank Castillo during the team's stay there for the First/Second Rounds of the 2002 NCAA Tournament.

2002-03 (Freshman): Redshirted in 2002-03 due to the depth at his position ... Nicknamed "The Matrix" by former teammate Will Bynum because "he's everywhere, all the time." ... Was outstanding through the early-season practices and nearly played his way out of the redshirt season.

High School: Averaged 17.4 points, 12.3 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game for Coach Russ Gilmore at Hobbs High School ... As a senior in 2002, he shot 59.8 percent from the field, including 52.1 percent from three-point range ... A great athlete, Dunn also averaged 2.0 assists per game last season ... He was twice named all-state and all-district during his prep career (2001, 2002) ... A member of the New Mexico South All-Star team ... Hobbs Most Valuable Player in 2002 ... Dunn was a three-year letterwinner for the Eagles and helped the squad to state championships in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 ...
