
Wildcats in 12th at Quail Valley Collegiate

The Arizona men's golf team finished the first day of the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational in 12th place with a total of 584 (+8).
The Wildcats ended the first round shooting a collective 293 (+5), and finishing the afternoon round with a 291 (+3), putting the Cats into 12th going into the final round on Tuesday.
Senior Alex McMahon led the way for Arizona tallying a one-under, 71 in both rounds putting him in 15th place tie with (-2) 142 total.
Freshman George Cunningham was also in blue numbers after Monday's play, shooting 70 (-2) in first round to help the Arizona native shoot and even 144 for the day. He will start play tomorrow in a tie for 25th place.
Brenden Redfern finished the first two rounds in a tie for 33rd place. The senior opened play with a 74 (+2) in the morning round and finishing the day with a one-under 71, bringing his total to a 145 (+1). Freshmen Max Donohue and Peter Koo shot a 153 (+9) and a 171 (+27) respectively putting Donohue in a tie for 67th and Koo in 75th place on Monday.
The final 18-holes of the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational will be played Tuesday morning at 8:30 EST.
