TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona's undefeated sand volleyball team earned a victory over Boise State Friday afternoon.
The Wildcats dominated each match as all of the teams defeated their respective opponents, giving them a 5-0 win.
The No. 1 team of Madi Kingdon and Kaitlyn Leary took the match against Boise State's Hannah Hubbard and Maddy O'Donnell, 21-15 in both sets.
Arizona's Madison and McKenna Witt of the No.2 team defeated Sarah Baugh and Sierra Nobley in straight sets 21-12, 21-16.
Rachel Rhoades and Kendall Polan took down Boise State's No. 3 tandem of Katelyn Kinghorn and Aly Duffin 21-10, 21-17.
The Wildcats' No. 4 team of Taylor Arizobal and Allie Cook secured a win in straight sets against Boise State's Kaitlyn Oliver and Maddie Osburn, 21-10, 21-16
Arizona's No. 5 team of Sarah Seiber and Hailey Devlin defeated Laney Hayes and Taylor Murphey 21-14, 21-16.
The Cats' duo of Taylor Lane and Olivia Macdonald also defeated Laney Hayes and Jaymee-Lee Bulda in an exhibition match.
Catch the Cats on Saturday competing against Nebraska at 9 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. against Cal State Northridge.
