TUCSON, Ariz. – The women's basketball program has announced that they will host two fan events in the coming weeks. The first one will be a cookout with the team and the second one being a season ticket holder dinner.
 
Event 1: Cookout with the Cats
When: Sunday, October 23 | 2-4 p.m.
Where: Just west of the swimming parking lot at the southeast corner of McKale Center
Who: Open to public
What: The women's basketball team is inviting all fans to come have a good time with the team and eat some good food. There will be tailgate games along with music. It is also a good chance for fans to interact with the players and coaches before the season kicks off.
 
Event 2: Season Ticket Holder Dinner
When: Thursday, November 3 | 6:30-8 p.m.
Where: Sands Club at Arizona Stadium
Who: 2016-17 Season Ticket Holders only
What: This is an exclusive preseason dinner for our season ticket holders. Season Ticket Holders will have time to interact and meet with the team. Food will be provided to all who RSVP for the event. The deadline to RSVP will be Thursday, October 27 by 5 p.m. You can RSVP at this link.

The season is set to begin on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. MST with an exhibition game against Western New Mexico in McKale Center. The regular season will officially begin that following Sunday with the opener against Alcorn State on Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. MST in McKale Center.
