TUCSON -Â Arizona defeated Central Arizona 6-0 on Friday afternoon at Hillenbrand Stadium in the Wildcats' opening game of the Arizona Fall Invitational not long before taking down Arizona Western 10-0.

Game 1 - Arizona 6, Central Arizona 0
Taylor McQuillin allowed only two hits in the first four innings and faced 15 batters, after which
Nancy Bowling came in to finish the game. Bowling allowed only one hit in her three innings in the circle. McQuillin earned the win for the Cats. Combined, McQuillin and Bowling struck 14 out over seven scoreless innings.
Arizona started off the scoring early, notching two hits in the bottom of the first inning. The Wildcats scored their first run on a Dejah Mulipola triple, which scored
Mandie Perez.

In the fourth, Perez hit an RBI double to add two more tallies for the Wildcats.
Alyssa Palomino followed that up with a sacrifice fly to right field for the Cats sixth run.

Dejah Mulipola went 2-for-2, scoring two runs and earning two RBI.
Katiyana Mauga also got an RBI. Perez and right fielder
Alexis Dotson also had two hits in the win.

Game 2 – Arizona 10, Arizona Western 0

Alyssa Palomino notched four RBI and
Danielle O'Toole and
Michelle Floyd tossed a combined shutout as the Cats run-ruled Arizona Western in the second game of the doubleheader, 10-0.

Arizona took the lead in the first inning with a sacrifice fly by Palomino followed by an RBI from Mercado, giving the Cats a 2-0 lead.

After taking the lead, the Wildcats wouldn't look back as they extended their lead to six in the second inning after an RBI triple from Bowling, an RBI single from Dotson, and a 2 RBI double from Palomino.

Arizona kept the offense coming in the 4th inning, where they scored two runs. An RBI double by pinch hitter
Monica Pasillas scored
Ashleigh Hughes not long before a throwing error off brought in Pasillas.

A single from Palomino in the bottom of the sixth scored Pasillas, ending the game at 10-0 and giving Palomino her 4th RBI of the game.

All in all, the Wildcats had 14 hits, walked three times and only struck-out twice.
