Arizona Set to Begin Play in Hawaii at the Pac-12 Preview

The University of Arizona women's golf team will begin their final tournament of the fall at the Pac-12 Preview in Kailua Kona, Hawaii on Monday. Arizona finished in third place at last year's event shooting 12-over par as a team. The team will play 36 holes Monday with the final round teeing off on Tuesday morning.
The strong field also includes Arizona State, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Washington, and Washington State. UCLA won the tournament in 2015 at 1-over par.
Sophomore Haley Moore looks to continue her strong start to the year after two third place finishes and a tie for 12th pace. Moore is currently the 12th ranked individual in the NCAA according to Golfweek.com, and has been placed on the ANNIKA Award watch list, the award given to the top female collegiate golfer.
In last year's Pac-12 Preview, Jessica Vasilic tied for fourth place at even par. Gigi Stoll finished in 18th place, while Krystal Quihuis and Wanasa Zhou shared 19th place. Danielle Lee tied for 39th place, and Natalia Forero finished in 45th place.
