
Larson Named First-Team Pac-12 All-Academic

TUCSON, Ariz. – For the third consecutive season, senior libero was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic first team, the conference announced on Thursday. This honor comes just three days after Larson was named the Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Reilly Killeen was named second-team Pac-12 All-Academic while McKenzie Jacobson and Kalei Mau were honorable mention selections.
Larson has a 3.968 GPA while majoring in molecular and cellular biology with optional minors in biochemistry and sports management. The Lakeville, Minnesota native has played in every match of her Arizona career, a school record 133, and has received a perfect 4.0 GPA in five of her six semesters at Arizona, with the highest GPA on the team since her arrival in the summer of 2013. Larson has totaled 1,195 digs in her career, seventh most in Arizona history. Her 472 digs this year are currently third in a season in UA history.
Killeen, a sophomore from Honolulu, Hawaii, has 3.67 GPA while majoring in pre-physiology. Killeen has seen action in 108 sets for Arizona this year and has 15 service aces, second on the team. Killeen has totaled 34 digs and 12 assists on the year.
Mau, the conference's second leading scorer, has a 3.45 GPA in general studies, and Jacobson, whose 79 blocks are second on the team, has a 3.01 GPA in nutritional sciences.
This is Jacobson's third consecutive year named to the honorable mention.
