Seven Wildcats Earn Pac-12 All-Academic Honors

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Pac-12 Conference announced their annual All-Academic teams on Monday, December 5th. Jaden DeGracie-Bailey was named to the first team while Lexe Selman-Richards was named to the second team. Five other Wildcats additionally earned honors from the conference.
This is the third-straight season that DeGracie-Bailey earned Pac-12 All-Academic First Team honors. In addition, she earned a CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team notation in 2015 and again this year in 2016. DeGracie-Bailey is a senior set to graduate this December with a degree in Physiology with a GPA of 3.96.
Selman-Richards also has a collection of accolades from the Pac-12, earning All-Academic First Team in 2014 and All-Academic Second Team in 2015. Also a graduating senior, Selman-Richards will graduate in May with a degree in Physiology. She currently maintains a GPA of 3.83.
Five other Wildcats also earned Pac-12 Honors. Lainey Burdett, Cali Crisler, Laura Pimienta, Hannah Stevens, and Gabi Stoian earned honorable mention accolades by the Pac-12 conference.
For Crisler, Pimienta, and Stoian, this award comes for the second straight year. Stevens has earned an honorable mention selection for two years prior, while this marks Burdett's first time earning an academic notation.
