Cats Take on Sun Devils on Senior Day Blue Out

TUCSON, Ariz. - Coming off an undefeated weekend of play in New Orleans, Louisiana the seventh-ranked Arizona sand volleyball team will host Bear Down Beach's first-ever #BlueOut as Arizona takes on rivals to the north, Arizona State in the final home match of the season. Arizona will honor seniors prior to the game.
Arizona holds a (13-3) record, recently earning victories this past weekend against Spring Hill College, LSU, and No. 8 Georgia State. The Cats also boast an undefeated home record of, (7-0).
The two teams will meet Thursday at 3:00 pm MST. This will be the first time this season that the Arizona teams match up. The Sun Devils hold a record of (12-8) with just recently defeating Boise State, (3-2).
In last season's match up, the Sand Cats downed the Devils twice, defeating them at home and at Arizona State, (4-1).
This match will be broadcasted LIVE on Pac-12 Networks and live programming is available from select television providers.
Nikki Attea, Jianna Bonomi, Katarina Schulz, and Kalei Mau will all be honored before this Wednesday's match. The No. 7 Cats will be accompanied by close family members and friends at Bear Down Beach.
Arizona State's senior Logan Rae will also be honored and presented with flowers.
Admission to all home sand volleyball matches is free. Fans are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets.
