Cats Travel Up North for Second Contest Against Arizona St.

TUCSON, Ariz. – After defeating the rivals to the north on senior day last week, (4-1) the seventh-ranked Arizona sand volleyball team travel up north to Tempe, Arizona as they take on the Sun Devils.
The Sand Cats match against Arizona State was the final home match of the season. Nikki Attea, Jianna Bonomi, Katarina Schulz, and Kalei Mau were all honored at last weeks match up. The No. 7 Cats were accompanied by close family members and friends at Bear Down Beach.
Arizona holds a (14-3) record, with the recent defeat against ASU. The Wildcats hold a (6-3) road record, as their latest on the road victory was against Georgia State, (3-2).
The two teams will meet on Wednesday, April 20 at 5 p.m. MST. This will be the second time this season that the two Arizona teams match up. The Sun Devils hold a record of (11-10).
In the 2014-15 season match up, the Sand Cats downed the Devils twice, defeating them at home and at Arizona State, (4-1).
The match will be held at PERA Club on 1 E Continental Dr., Tempe, AZ 85281.
