Bonds and Tonnesen Headline Day Two in Palo Alto

PALO ALTO, Calif. –
Arizona's track and field team was back at it for day two of the Stanford Invitational with two athletes in the 100 and 110-meter hurdle finals.
“This weekend we accomplished some of the things we set out to do.” Head Coach Fred Harvey said. “Pau making the hurdle final and finishing at 14.47 was a really, really good mark.”
“Claire Green in the 1,500-meter race did an awesome job. That was definitely one of the highlights. In my mind the best performance of the week was Addi Zerrenner's 5,000-meter time. She is really starting to come around and show folks the type of athlete she really is.”
Pau Tonnesen came in seventh in the 110-meter hurdle at 14.47 seconds. That's was another personal record for Tonnesen after breaking his personal best mark in the event yesterday as well.
Tiana Bonds came in sixth in the 100-meter final at a time of 14.34 seconds.
The Track Cats will be back on home turf next weekend as they host the Jim Click Shootout from April 7th-9th at Roy P. Drachman Stadium.
