
Hendrikx Named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team

Tucson, Ariz. - Senior Inge Hendrikx has been named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team, as announced by the conference on Thursday, while junior Lauren Marker and sophomore Devin Chypyha also received honorable mention accolades for their efforts in the classroom.
To be eligible for an All-Academic team selection, a student-athlete must post at least a 3.00 GPA and be a significant contributor to the team.
This is the second year in a row that Hendrikx, who posted a 3.64 GPA, has been named to the Pac-12 All-Academic team as well as the second consecutive year that she has won the Southwest Region ITA Cissie Leary Award for sportsmanship. She will continue her academic work next year at an entrepreneurship program through the Eller College of Business.
Marker, who played in all 23 of Arizona's 2015-16 dual matches, currently has a 3.22 GPA and was previously given an All-Academic Honorable Mention as sophomore.
Chypyha earned her first academic honor this year as she posted a GPA of 3.18 this year.
