  • Thursday's game against in-state rival Arizona State will be the 231st meeting between the Wildcats and Sun Devils in their series that goes back to 1913. Arizona State was the first college team UA ever faced on Dec. 13, 1913 after playing primarily YMCA's and Tucson High School alumni teams starting in 1904.
  • Arizona is off to just its third 4-0 start in conference play since 2000, joining the 2002-03 and 2013-14 Wildcat teams that both won their first eight league games. Since joining the Pac-12 conference prior to the 1978-79 season, UA has won its first four conference games of the season just seven times in 39 seasons.
  • The Wildcats are coming off an 82-73 victory over the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday evening in McKale Center. Senior Kadeem Allen scored a career-high 18 points in the win while recording five rebounds and four assists. Allen was supported by the starting front court of Lauri Markkanen and Dusan Ristic who combined for 39 points and 14 rebounds. The UA defense forced 15 Colorado turnovers and converted them into 24 points off of turnovers.
  • Parker Jackson-Cartwright has played 95 minutes in four games since returning from an ankle injury. He's tallied 25 assists to just five turnovers in his last four games while averaging just 23.8 minutes per game.
  • The 82-73 victory over the Buffs on Saturday evening saw Arizona become the last team in the nation to concede 70 or more points in a game. It happened in UA's 17th game of the season. The Wildcats' 16 consecutive games of holding opponents to 69 or fewer points to begin the year was the longest such streak to begin a season since 1950-51.
  • Arizona will look to defend its current 15-game home winning streak. The Wildcats have won 64 of their last 65 games inside McKale Center going back to the 2012-13 season. Their record in Tucson stands at 106-7 (.938) since the start of the 2010-11 season and 57-8 (.877) in Pac-12 home games under Sean Miller (2009-10 season to present).
  • With 22 points in his last game, Lauri Markkanen eclipsed the 20-point mark for the third time this season. It was his first 20-point game since scoring 22 points against Sacred Heart in the third game of the season, a span of 13 games.
