Tucson, Ariz. – The Arizona Track And Field program added hurdler Maksims Sincukovs of Latvia to the 2017-18 roster on Monday, Oct. 2nd.
 
"Maksims (Sincukovs) will add a lot to a recruiting class that is one of the best in the country," said head coach Fred Harvey. "He has global championship experience, which will serve him well at the NCAA Championship level in both the 400 meter hurdles and the 1600 meter relay events. He will be a great Wildcat."
 
Sincukovs set his career best mark in the 400mH with a time of 50.35, the 12th best junior mark in the world, in Lappeenranta, Finland on August 28th, 2017. In the 400m race, the Latvia native set a career mark of 47.91 in Valmiera, Latvia on June 10th, 2017.
