Tucson, Ariz. – Senior
Claire Green will compete in the NCAA Championships as an individual on Saturday, Nov. 18th in Louisville, KY. The women's 6K race is set to begin at 7:00 a.m. MST. Live coverage of the race will be available with a subscription to FloTrack, with results available on NCAA.com.
"I am really excited for the opportunity to compete in the cross country NCAA Championships," Green said. "I honestly never thought I'd get to compete as an individual and am extremely excited to compete at the next stage and see what I can do."
Last time out, Green tabbed her fifth top 20 finish of the year at the NCAA West Regional in Seattle, Wash., clocking a time of 19.56.30.
"We are extremely happy and proud of Claire for making it to the Nationals," said head cross country coach
James Li. "It is a little bit bittersweet because we definitely wish our team was there and I am sure that Claire is motivated to race not only for herself but also for her team. We are really happy and proud of Claire for achieving this goal in her senior year, she has one more step to go, one more race. I really think she is capable of finishing high enough to earn All-American status."
