
Summerset Leads Cats on Day One of Stanford Invitational

STANFORD, Calif. – Arizona's track and field team completed day one of the Stanford Invitational and were lead by freshman phenom Justice Summerset.
Summerset won the high jump competition with a mark of 2.16 meters (7' 1"), that mark is currently top-10 in the country.
Claire Green ran a time of 15:49.58 in the 5,000-meter race for a fifth-place finish.
Myles Hawkins took second-place in the long jump with a personal best mark of 7.51 meters (24' 7.75").
Carlos Villarreal ran another personal best in the 1,500-meter race with a time of 3:45.68.
In the 3,000-meter steeplechase Bailey Roth took seventh-place with a time of 8:46.69.
Karla Teran took fourth-place in the high jump with a mark of 1.70 meters (5' 7").
Addi Zerrenner took 12th in the 10,000-meter race with a personal best time of 34:13.00.The Cats will be back in action at home next weekend for their own Jim Click Shootout with multi events beginning on Thursday, April 6th.
