What is your favorite club and why?
"My favorite club is my putter because it's your make or break club."
What is your favorite course and why?
"My favorite course would be PGA National's Champion Course in West Palm Beach, Florida. I have a lot of good memories with friends and family from that place because I always used to play the AJGA Polo there over Thanksgiving."
Who is your role model in golf and how have they influenced you?
"My golf role model would be Tiger Woods. Growing up watching him in his prime was an unbelievable time. He influenced me by showing that nothing really is impossible if you have the right mentality. Not only in his prime, but even now when he's off his game and struggling he is still influencing me by teaching me that golf is hard even for the best, but that doesn't mean you should give up. He's showed me that you just have to suck it up, push through it and persevere."
What is the most memorable shot you have hit?
"The most memorable shot I've hit at the University of Arizona would be on the par-three 17
th hole at last years PAC-12 Championship. It was about 185 yards and I hit a high draw right at the pin and ended up rolling right past the whole to about a foot."
What is your best golf memory, either as a team or an individual?
"One of my fondest memories was when I shot my career tournament low (-7) with a second place finish in Chicago in the fall of my junior year. I had been struggling earlier in the spring and when I finished that last hole I got very emotional because it felt like I had just broke through a wall. However, the thing that made it so memorable is just the overwhelming support from my teammates and coaches when I came out of the scoring tent. It made me feel like everyone had my back and was rooting for me all along. They were all there for me during the down and it was great to see that they were still all there for me during the up."
What are goals you have for yourself moving forward in your career?
"I'm most looking forward to experiencing the team atmosphere to the fullest. It's my last semester before I graduate and most likely I will never be on a team like this again with golf being an individual sport. I will be graduating in May with a Finance degree and I will be begin my professional career on the Symetra Tour. My goal is to compete well enough to eventually gain enough status to make it to the LPGA Tour."
