
Arizona Finishes Tenth at NCAA Regionals

The University of Arizona women's golf team completed play at the NCAA Regionals in Athens, Ga. on Wednesday. The Wildcats finished in 10th place after shooting eleven-over on the round and +30 for the tournament.
UA did not finish with one of the six lowest scores in the regional and will not qualify for the NCAA Championships.
Junior Krystal Quihuis shot an even par round of 72 on the day and finishes the tournament in a tie for 12th place. Quihuis earned her seventh Top-20 finish of the season and the 20th of her career. Sophomore Gigi Stoll tied for 28th place after posting a round of 77 and finishing six-over for the tournament. Sophomore Haley Moore finished 11-over for the tournament and earned a tie for 50th place. Senior Jessica Vasilic tied for 57th after posting a round of 75. Senior Wanasa Zhou shot 82 in her third round and finished in a tie for 78th place.
In the Athens Regional, Alabama, Northwestern, Michigan State, Baylor, Clemson, and North Carolina all qualified for the NCAA Championships at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Ill. Jennifer Kupcho of Wake Forest won the individual competition at 10-under-par, winning by five strokes.
