Cats Complete Round Two in Athens at NCAA Regionals

The University of Arizona women's golf team completed second round play at the NCAA Regionals in Athens, Ga. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are currently in eighth place after shooting nine-over on the round.
Junior Krystal Quihuis is tied for 13th after shooting a two-over round of 74. She is one-over-par for the tournament. Sophomore Gigi Stoll posted a score of 72. Stoll is one-over for the tournament and is in a tie or 13th as well. Sophomore Haley Moore sits in a tie for 46th place after shooting a round of 75. Senior Jessica Vasilic posted a round of 76 and is nine-over for the tournament. Senior Wanasa Zhou is tied for 64th after carding a round of 77.
The Wildcats are seven shots back of Tennessee and Northwestern who are tied for sixth place. In order the advance to the NCAA Championships, UA must finish with one of the six lowest scores in the regional. Alabama leads the team competition at three-under-par. Jennifer Kupcho of Wake Forest leads the individual tournament at six-under.
