Madi Kingdon, USA Volleyball Set for World Grand Prix

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona volleyball alum Madi Kingdon has been named to USA Volleyball's World Grand Prix Roster for the opening weekend in China, announced by head national coach Karch Kiraly.

The World Grand Prix will span four weekends through July and into August. The first two weekends will be held in China (July 7-9 in Kunshan and July 16-18 in Macau). The final weekend of pool play will be held in Cuiaba, Brazil (July 21-23) with the finals being held back in China (August 2-6 in Nanjing).

Kingdon is in her second summer training with USA Volleyball, and has helped the team to an 8-0 start to the 2020 Olympic quadrennial's first season. She was named 2014 AVCA All-America Third-Team in her final season at Arizona where she finished ranked second in UA history in both career kills (1,943) and digs (1,366).
