TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona swept No. 13 TCU in McKale on Friday night to improve to 12-9 (6-5 Big 12) on the season. Â

The Wildcats tallied eight blocks to hold the Horned Frogs to a .135 hitting percentage. Arizona served six aces and tallied 41 kills to upset TCU.
Jordan Wilson totaled 14 kills to lead the offense and
Adrianna Bridges followed with a career high with 11 kills and a .714 clip.
Journey Tucker led the defense with six blocks and
Renee Jones had five blocks.

Arizona won the first set, 25-16. The Wildcats jumped out to a 13-4 lead to control the set and held the Horned Frogs to a .167 hitting percentage. Bridges tallied five kills and hit 1.000 to lead the attack.
Carlie Cisneros, Jones, and Wilson added two kills each to help Arizona control the opening set.

The Wildcats took a 2-0 lead with a 25-23 win in the second set. In a back-and-forth second set, Arizona took the lead at 23-22 to close out the set. Arizona totaled four blocks led by Tucker and Jones to overcome TCU in the set. Offensively, Wilson had five kills while Bridges and Cisneros had three kills each.

Arizona won the match with a 26-24 win in the third set. The Wildcats fought back from a four-point deficit to take the lead at 25-24 and Wilson secured the sweep with a kill. Wilson tallied seven kills to lead Arizona. Bridges and Cisneros had three kills each while Jones added two kills for the Cats.

Arizona will host BYU next Wednesday, November 5 and Texas Tech on Friday, November 7 in McKale Center.
