Jenny Leung is a junior from Houston, Texas. As a sophomore, Leung earned a season-high of 9.775 on vault, and she also earned a new season and career high of 9.725 on beam during the home opener against Denver. Leung is excited to compete in McKale again and show the fans what's she's been working on in the off-season.
How old were you when you started gymnastics?
I was 3 years old when I started gymnastics.
What is your favorite event and why?
My favorite event is vault because it takes a lot of power and is super fun flying through the air.

What is fun and special about Arizona gymnastics?
Arizona gymnastics is a family. It's amazing to have a group of girls that support you in everything.
What is your dream job after college?
My dream job is to work in the sports or retail industry like the NBA or Nike doing data analytics or operations management.
What advice do you have for the underclassmen?
The advice I would have for the underclassmen is to organize your time outside of gymnastics to stay on top of schoolwork and to get enough sleep!
What is a hobby you have outside of gymnastics?
I love to cook and bake! My dream job when I was younger was to be a pastry chef in New York City.
What are you looking forward to most about this season?
I am looking forward to competing more this season because I was out for a majority of the season last year.
What is your favorite GymCat memory thus far?
My favorite memory so far was on my birthday this year when John (our head coach) canceled practice and treated us to brunch at a really nice resort called La Paloma up in the foothills.
