TUCSON, Ariz. – The Arizona Wildcats (0-1) opened up the season against Albany (1-0) tonight at Mulcahy Stadium and were knocked off by the Great Danes by a score of 1-0. Albany went up 1-0 in the 71st minute off a low, back post shot by Claire Stackel.

Lainey Burdett is there to make the save.

Iyana Zimmerman at the top of the circle and rips a shot at the goal, but it creeps just over the crossbar.

75' - A pair of freshmen making things happen as Knous sprints down the right wing and delivers a delightful ball to
Brooke Wilson on the back post, but she cannot control it enough to get a chance on goal. Cats pressing now down 1-0.
81' - Talley flicks one on to Knous perfectly and she volleys it towards the goal, but unfortunately it goes right at the keeper
