TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona women's soccer team defeated the Houston Baptist Huskies by a score 6-0 on Sunday afternoon in Tucson. Arizona's goals were scored by Jada Talley, Sabrina Enciso, Gabe Jillings, Brooke Wilson and Michaela Rentner.
 
"I thought it was a really good performance overall, said Amato. "We asked the team to really find a way to be elite tonight and enjoy the game and I thought those two things came together."
 
Arizona will continue their season on Friday, August 31^st at 4:30 p.m. in Tempe, Ariz. vs. Southeast Missouri State.

Play-by-Play 
7' - Jill Aguilera had a good look from near the penalty spot but it deflected wide off a defender.
 
13' - Amanda Porter played a dangerous ball into the box but Houston Baptist managed to clear.
 
17' - Aguilera had a pair of good chances but the Cats remained off the board.
 
20' - Emily Knous slides a ball into Hannah Clifford who rips another ball that is deflected wide.
 
29' - Jada Talley crossed a ball into Knous but the Houston Baptist defense came up with yet another deflection to steer the ball away from goal.
 
29' - GOAL! Jada Talley made a spectacular run and knocks one off the post and in to break the seal.
 
37' - GOAL! Jada Talley notched her second goal of the game with beautiful chip into the top right corner.
 
39' - GOAL! Sabrina Enciso scored on a fantastic volley after a brilliant ball into the box from Porter.
 
50' - Talley tried her luck from outside the box but the shot was handled easily by the Houston Baptist keeper.
 
52' - The Huskies got their best look of the match but Lainey Burdett managed to punch the shot over the crossbar.
 
57' - Talley attempted an acrobatic shot off a corner but lifted it wide of the net.
 
66' - GOAL! Aguilera ripped a shot that deflected off the post but Jillings was there to knock it in.
 
73' - GOAL! Brooke Wilson made it 5-0 Wildcats with a wonderful chest trap and volley into the back of the net.
 
80' - Aguilera made a nice run down the left side and fired one just wide.
 
82' - The Arizona backline continued to stifle the Houston Baptist forwards, keeping the clean sheet intact.
 
88' - GOAL! Michaela Rentner received a lovely pass from Iyana Zimmerman and strikes the ball into the side netting for the sixth Arizona goal of the night!
