TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona women's soccer team defeated the Boise State Broncos by a score of 2-0 on Friday night in Tucson, Ariz.
In the 40th minute,
Jill Aguilera perfectly lofted a cross over the last defender, to find the head of
Brooke Wilson, to put the Cats on the board. Arizona's second goal came from Junior forward
Taryn Siegele, who headed the ball in, off a through ball from
Hallie Pearson. With today's shutout, Arizona has kept five straight clean sheets for the first time in school history.
The Wildcats will take the field again this Sunday at Mulcahy Stadium to face Baylor at 2 pm MST.

Jada Talley blasted one straight at the keeper, and Boise State responded with a shot that squeaks over the crossbar.

Jill Aguilera flew past a defender and played a wonderful ball to
Kennedy Kieneker who flicked one into the hands of the keeper.

Kelcey Cavarra nearly doubled the lead but a defender clears the ball inches before it crossed the goal line.
55' - Talley fired another one towards the net, but it deflected off a defender away from goal.
60' - The Wildcats continued to play suffocating defense on the Broncos, immediately swarming any attackers inside the 18.
63' - Burdett foiled the best chance of the night for the Broncos, preserving the 1-0 lead for the Wildcats.
71' - A couple of nice build-ups for the Cats, but nothing to show for it on the finishing end.
76' - Porter made another phenomenal run but rockets one over the bar, Arizona continues to lead 1-0 with 15 to go.
80' - GOAL! A beautiful set piece fell right on the head of Taryn Siegele and glanced into the back of the net!
