STANFORD, Calif. (AP) -- Brandon Randolph scored 17 points, one of five players to reach double figures, and Arizona survived a scare from Stanford, beating the Cardinal 75-70 on Wednesday night.
Ira Lee scored four of his 12 points in the final 23 seconds for the Wildcats (12-4, 3-0 Pac-12), who won their fifth straight. Brandon Williams also scored 12 points and both Chase Jeter and Ryan Luther added 10.
KZ Okpala matched his career-high with 29 points for the Cardinal (7-8, 0-3), who lost their fourth in five games. Daejon Davis added 15 points.
The Cardinal was up 52-47 with 12:05 left to play before the Wildcats scored the next 10 points and went on a 14-2 run to open a seven-point edge in the final seven minutes.
Josh Sharma dunked, on an alley-oop pass from Okpala, with 1:13 remaining to bring the Cardinal within 69-68 but Lee answered at the other end and Stanford missed a jumper, with Lee coming up with the rebound.
Arizona made an early run to go up by eight less than four minutes into the contest but the Cardinal was able to rally and take a brief lead with 6:31 left in the first half.
The Wildcats regained the lead 13 seconds later and stayed in front the rest of the first half, taking a 40-38 advantage into the intermission.
NOTES:
- With Wednesday's 75-70 win over Stanford, Arizona has now won 18 games in a row over the Cardinal, dating back to 2009.
- Arizona improved to 51-31 in Pac-12 road games under coach Sean Miller.
- Arizona has started 3-0 in Pac-12 play for the second time in three years. The Wildcats started 10-0 in 2017 league play.
- Sophomore Brandon Randolph finished with 17 points and eight rebounds. Randolph has scored in double figures in all 16 of Arizona's games this season. His eight rebounds tied his career high.
- Randolph hit all six of his free throws and is now 61 for 67 from the line on the season. His .910 percentage leads the Pac-12.
- Sophomore Ira Lee finished with a career-high 12 points in Wednesday's win. Lee's previous high was 11 set last season against Long Beach State. Lee was 5 for 8 from the floor in 18 minutes for his third career double-digit scoring game.
- The Wildcats shot 7 of 12 from 3-point range for a .583 percentage, which is a season high. Arizona's previous high was .545 against Utah Valley.
- Redshirt junior center Chase Jeter had a season-high five offensive rebounds, which tied his career high. Jeter also took his 20th charge of the season in the win.
- The Wildcats were 16 of 18 from the free throw line for a .889 percentage, which is a season high. Arizona's previous high this season was .875 against Utah Valley when the Cats went 14 for 16.
- Ryan Luther finished with a season-high three assists in the win. He also finished with 10 points for his first double-digit scoring game since beating Connecticut in December.
