Arizona Set to Open 2019-20 Season in Utah

Tucson, Ariz. - Arizona's Swimming and Diving team is set to open up the season with their first meet on the road against Utah, this Friday at 1 p.m. MST.
2018-19 Recap
The Wildcat women finished 4-5 last season, placing fifth at Pac-12 Championships and 14that NCAA Championships. The men went 1-5 on the season, placing third at Pac-12 Championships and 16that NCAAs.
Red-Blue Recap
The Cats are coming off a competitive annual Red-Blue scrimmage that ended in a win for the Blue team by a score of 269-253.
History Against Utah
The women have been successful against the Utes by taking their last two dual meets. Arizona won by at least 50 points in both meets. The men are 2-1 against Utah since 2013, and have also won the last two dual meets.
Key Returners for Upcoming Season
Junior Brooks Fail earned Pac-12 All-Academic First Team honors, an All-American in the 500 free and Honorable Mention in the 800 free relay and held the fastest team times for the season in the 500, 1000, and 1,650 free.
Senior Hannah Cox holds the school record in the 1000 Free (9:32.24), and finished in the top-5 24 times in all her events last season.
