TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona volleyball is set to enter week 7 of the 2019 season this week, and will head to northern California to face No. 2 Stanford and No. 16 California in a pair of key road matches.

The Wildcats enter the week 11-5 on the season, including a victory over Colorado last Sunday. Sophomore Zyonna Fellows got the start, her fourth start of the season, and notched six kills on .455 hitting to go along with a team-high-tying three blocks. For the season, Fellows,  is averaging 1.00 kills and 1.06 blocks per set over seven matches.
 
Fellows, from Seattle, Washington, is majoring in Learning, Literacy, and Leadership. She sat down with ArizonaWildcats.com to talk about her experience at Arizona so far.
 
What is your favorite memory with your teammates?
By far the Europe trip (this summer). That was the most bonding time that we've had. We all got to experience new things and just have fun together.
 
What are some of your favorite things to do in Tucson?
I love to go bowling with my team, we go to the movies, sometimes we buy board games and we'll play games at the house.
 
Who is someone you looked up to growing up?
I've looked up to multiple people. I'd say women wise, my mom and my grandma. My mom has always taught me you can do whatever you want as long as you put your mind to it… my grandma has always taught me how to be a strong independent woman.
 
Proudest moment as a Wildcat?
I've been here for two years and my proudest moment would probably be getting to start at Washington, my hometown, and everyone got to watch me from home.
 
What are your goals for after graduation?
I really want to be a counselor for drug and alcohol abuse. I want to help those people who overcome their drug and alcohol abuse and help them find another path so getting jobs and stuff.
