TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Volleyball has announced that Kristen Dear and Destiny Ndam-Simpson have transferred to the program.
 
"We are excited to welcome Kristen and Destiny to the program," head coach Charita Stubbs said. "Kristen is a very athletic middle blocker who is driven to succeed at a high level, and I love her ability to learn quickly. Destiny will bring experience and maturity to our pins and will fit with our system well. We can't wait to get them started and expect them both to make immediate impacts on the court."
 
Dear, a middle blocker from Howard, will be a sophomore in 2026 and played in 56 sets as a Bison. During her freshman season, she tallied 130 kills with a .443 clip to lead the team in hitting percentage. Dear recorded 48 total blocks and 44 block assists and also had 20 digs during the season. She had a career match with 21 kills with an .850 hitting percentage and scored 23 points for the Bison against UMES.
 
Ndam-Simpson is transferring to Arizona following three years at Creighton. During her time as a Bluejay, she totaled 249 kills and averaged 1.86 kills/set across 134 sets as an outside hitter. Ndam-Simpson had a breakout freshman season, earning BIG EAST All-Freshman team honors after ranking fourth on Creighton with 153 kills. She averaged 2.19 kills/set and tallied 29 blocks during her freshman season. In the 2024 season, Ndam-Simpson played in 18 matches and led the Bluejays with a .417 hitting percentage. She played in 10 matches and totaled 50 kills during the 2025 season before an injury.
 
Dear and Ndam-Simpson will join transfers Kennedy Osunsanmi, Harmony Sample, Maria Siapani, and Payton Woods along with freshmen Hayden Reeder, Marina Vosloo, and Gigi Whann as newcomers to the 2026 roster.
