TUCSON, Ariz. -- Golfweek's Final Fall ANNIKA Award Watch List is out, and two Wildcats have once again been included.
Vivian Hou is listed in the top 10 and older sister
Yu-Sang Hou is mentioned in the "Others to watch" portion of the list.
Vivian had a stellar fall season as a freshman, recording top-5 finishes in four of the five events she competed in. Her debut event was the prestigious ANNIKA Intercollegiate, where she finished in solo second among a stacked field. Hou notched her second runner-up finish of the fall at the Stanford Intercollegiate, and then tied for fourth in back-to-back tournaments to end the fall season. She also concluded the season with eight consecutive rounds of par or better. She was named Pac-12 Golfer of the Month for September.
Yu-Sang was a picture of consistency in her three fall events, never finishing worse than even-par for a tournament. She made her fall debut with a sixth-place finish at the Windy City Collegiate and then backed that up with a T5 at the Stanford Intercollegiate. Her 17th-place finish at the Pac-12 Preview ensured her a top-20 finish in all three fall events.
The Hou sisters will be back in action in February when the Wildcats begin the spring season at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge at Palos Verdes Country Club.
