Tucson, Ariz. – Arizona Soccer (11-6-1, 5-5-1) ended the 2019 regular season with a 1-0 victory against in-state rival Arizona State.
Jada Talley scored the lone goal in the 82', making this the fourth year in a row Arizona has beaten ASU with all four being decided by one goal. The Cats end the regular season with 11 wins and will learn their NCAA Tournament fate on Monday.

After 22 shots, 14 corner kicks and two very close calls that were waved off with offside calls, forward
Jada Talley came through with the only goal of the match. The late goal came off a pass from
Emily Knous that Talley sent straight into a Sun Devil. The rebound came off and gave Talley a glorious shot at the back of the net.

Talley led the Wildcats to their 11th victory of the season against the Sun Devils. This is the second time this season that she has scored the only goal(s) to clinch the victory. She ends the regular season at the top of the Cats' leader board with 10 goals, eight assists, 44 shots, and four game-winning goals. She is the first player in Arizona history to have this many goals and assists in one season.
