TUCSON, Ariz. – The 18th-ranked Arizona Wildcats are 10-0 for the first time in school history as they took down Tennessee State 77-42 on Thursday night to win their 16th game in a row dating back to last season, the longest active streak in the country.
Cate Reese scored a career-high 23 points on 9-13 shooting.
Arizona did what they do and shot well from the field while forcing the Lady Tigers into some tough shots. The Wildcats shot 50% from the field and TSU shot just 26%. The paint was dominated by Arizona all night as they outscored TSU 40-14 in the paint and outrebounded them 48-24.
Aari McDonald had her second double-double of the season as she scored 17 points and grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds, which ties her career-high. She also had four steals on the night.

Cate Reese – The sophomore has been unstoppable as of late and she was just as dominant tonight, scoring a career-high 23 points, which included 19 in the first half. She is averaging over 19 points per game in her last three contests.
