Top 15 Showdown in McKale on Saturday

TUCSON, Ariz. - Saturday night at the McKale Center will feature two of the top 15 teams in the country when No. 6 Gonzaga (10-1) takes on No. 15 Arizona (10-1). The game will tip-off at 8:00 p.m. (MST) on ESPN2 with Dave Feldman and Sean Farnham on the call.

Arizona leads the all-time series with the Zags, 6-3, but Gonzaga has won the last two meetings. The Wildcats own a 2-0 all-time record against Gonzaga in games played in Tucson.

Nico Mannion, the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week on Dec. 2, is coming off his second double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 assists (tied season high) against Omaha. His 68 assists this year ranks 10th nationally and leads all current freshmen. He was named MVP of the Wooden Legacy after he averaged 16.3 points per game and 7.3 assists over the three games. 

A two-time Pac-12 Freshman of the Week, Zeke Nnaji is shooting 70.7 percent from the floor this year (4th nationally). He is connecting at an 80 percent clip at the free throw line, the best of anyone in the country listed at 6-foot 11-inches or taller. The last time out against Omaha, he finished with nine point, including his first made 3FG of the season - and seven rebounds along with a +41 plus-minus.

Josh Green is coming off a 15 point, seven rebound, three assist game against Omaha on Wednesday. He leads the team with 19 steals. He is one of two true freshmen in the country to average 12 points per game and also have 19 steals and 28 assists (Tyrell Terry, STAN).

Senior Chase Jeter has scored in double figures in five straight games - the longest stretch of his career - after dropping 15 points on 5-of-5 FG and 5-of-5 FT against Omaha. He earned all-tournament team honors at the Wooden Legacy after posting averaged of 15.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and shooting 76.9 percent from the floor.
