Tucson, Ariz. – Redshirt junior Carlos Villarreal earned 2018 USTFCCCA Cross Country All-Academic Honors today, joining both the men's and women's teams who both earned team honors.
 
The ladies roster boats a GPA of 3.40. Highlighting the 2018 season was senior Addi Zerrenner who advanced to the NCAA Championships as an individual. She won the 2018 Dave Murray Invitational and never finished outside the top-25 in the regular season.
 
The men's team earned a GPA of 3.52. Villarreal, majoring in Psychology and Communication, won the Dave Murray Invitational and finished as one of the top-3 runners in the Loyola Cross Country Invitational, and the NCAA West Regional. He advanced to the NCAA Championships where he clocked a time of 30:28.1 in the 10K race.
