HOUSTON, Texas – The Arizona Wildcats (6-2) secured a 9-4 victory over the Houston Cougars (4-3) in their series finale on Sunday afternoon at Schroeder Park.

Nick Quintana led the way on offense – Fraizer went 2-for-5 and Quintana finished the day 2-for-4 – as the duo combined for four runs scored, one double, three RBI, and one walk. Fraizer has now collected five hits and four runs scored across his last 10 at-bats.

After a furious rally in the late innings on Saturday night, the Wildcats offense carried their momentum into Sunday's contest. Arizona scored twice in the opening frame to take an early 2-0 lead, and posted a seven-run outburst in the fifth inning to break the game wide open. Overall, the Wildcats offense collected eight base hits and 10 walks.

Freshman right-hander
Bryce Collins got the call to start for the Wildcats and turned in 3.0 innings of work. Collins allowed one run on three hits while striking out two – he did not factor into the decision.

Arizona earned scoreless relief outings from
George Arias Jr. (1.0 IP) and
Avery Weems (1.1 IP), while Vince Vanelle allowed just one unearned run in 1.1 frames. Sophomore
Zach Sherman fanned four Cougars batters over 2.1 innings, including a sixth inning effort where he struck out the side swinging.
