TUCSON, Ariz. - The 29th-ranked Arizona Wildcats (13-3) took down No. 47 ranked Iowa by a score of 6-1 on Monday afternoon at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center to win their ninth-straight home match of the season.

The Cats took the doubles point thanks to wins on courts one and two. Filip Malbasic and Alejandro Reguant showed out in another dominant performance on court two, winning by a score of 6-1 and Jonas Ziverts and Igor Karpovets clinched the doubles point on court one with a 6-4 victory. 

Karpovets took the first singles match for Arizona, his ninth of the season, by a score of 6-1, 6-3. Malbasic also cruised to his 13th win of the season on court two 6-1, 6-4, and Reguant clinched the match for Arizona with a 6-1, 7-6(5) win on court four. 

Jonas Maier won his match in two sets 7-6, 6-3 on court six to give him his 10th win on the season. Carlos Hassey rallied back form the first set to win his match in three sets 2-6, 7-5, 1-0 (4) and Ziverts dropped a tough match by a score of 6-4, 6-3.
