Finished his freshman season at LSU in 2017-18 with an overall record of 8-12, including a 6-8 record in dual matches ... Played 13 matches at the sixth spot in the rotation and went 5-8 ... Won his only match in the fifth spot in the rotation ... Earned an 11-11 record in doubles, including 11-9 during dual action in the third spot. 

PREP
One of the top players in the state of Florida where he was coached by Heath Turpin and Julian Alonso ... A 6-4 all-court player with a huge serve and forehand, Block showed promise as he competed in the National Clay Courts and Kalamazoo Hard Court Championships.
